Relatively Speaking was Alan Ayckbourn’s big break. It opened at The Duke of York’s Theatre, London, in March 1967 with a cast incuding Michael Hordern, Celia Johnson and Richard Briers. It ran for 355 performances and firmly established Ayckbourn in the West End.
